In The Charmless Morning

The relationship between humans and nature has existed for as long as time itself. We often hear about major contributors to climate change, such as fossil fuels, plastic, and deforestation, the subtle and smaller impacts humans have on the Earth are less frequently discussed. For this project, I aimed to illustrate how humans have subtly taken over nature. Even in areas that seem remote from civilisation, traces of human presence can still be found. My photo sequence is designed to evoke the experience of hiking through nature while noticing these subtle signs of prior human activity.
